DNS records can be add in two different ways in cPanel. The Basic DNS Editor allows you to add A and CNAME and also you can’t edit the exisiting records that were generated upon creation. Advanced DNS Editor allows to create A, AAAA, CNAME, SRV and TXT records, It also allows you to override any default records, or those that were created upom account creation.
Follow the below steps to create the DNS records using Advanced DNS Editor
- Login to cPanel
- Navigate to Domains section

- Click Advanced DNS Editor,
- Select the domain which you would like to add the DNS records.
- Go to Add a Record section and fill the required fields for the record.

- Once you added the records, click on Add Record
